Weekend Snippets

--Sam went to his four-month doctors appointment with Dr. P and he weighs 16 lbs. 7 oz. and is 27.5 inches long. Off the charts in height! I see a big, big grocery bill in our future... 

--A wet and blustery Saturday. Grandma Beth came down for a visit and to help around the house. She brought seeds and got one of our gardens going for thesummer! So excited to have fresh veggies and to watch the little sprouts poke their heads out of the rich soil. There is nothing quite like growing your own food. Now we just need chickens and goats and bees:)

--While Grandma Beth watched Sam, Jamie and I went to a Sunday morning yoga class. What a treat to work the legs and shoulder blades, while tuning into our grace. It was a lovely day and we also biked to the library.

--Sam is such a mover and a shaker! He is pumping his legs, waving his arms an squirming up a storm. I look at him and am in awe at how fast he has grown, has developed and reached into his little personality. His delightful smile and funny new noises, his little tongue moving around and exploring how different positions and shapes help produce new sounds. A magical thing, having a child.
