Like the whole world has remembered how to be with one another but I am still catching up.” Painted in 2021, this painting reflects the myriad of feelings involved with re-entering into the world, into a new normal, into familiar routines with masks and precautions. A welcoming of re-connection, mixed with a longing for the slowing down that came with pandemic life.
